A Bit About Me
I was working for a law firm downtown when COVID hit. My oldest son had always encouraged me to work for myself. He was always saying "you are either building someone else's dream, or building your own." So here I am, building my dream. My motivation is to be a part of building other people's lives, while building my dream. That is a legacy that I want to leave. More to come....

I have drafted, execute, and authenticated affidavits, acknowledgements, powers of attorney, wills, and many other forms of writing and legal documentation. I am also a Notary Signing Agent, having gone through the rigorous training of the different forms of real estate financing and closing packages, background checks, and clearances.
While in college I volunteered at a law firm practicing Bankruptcy law. When I graduated they hired me full time. I did not want the focus of my career to be "bankruptcy" law so I took a position at a tax law firm. I loved the exposure and knowledge that I received there. I was responsible for reviewing tax records; preparing corporate minutes; drafting employee contracts, leases, etc.; and incorporating business. I moved to Louisiana in 1994 and began working at a personal injury firm. Soon thereafter I was able to transfer my knowledge and expertise to a corporate law firm here in Louisiana working in transactional law; estate planning; and contracts. The last position I held at a law firm, before going full time with my own business, was with an insurance defense firm. The years of the law firm experience has provided me the in-site to make me the well rounded professional I am today.
